	Bishop Dr. Jacob J. Agepog       Rev. Jacob J. Agepog was born in Hyderabad, A.P. India. He is the oldest of seven children. He dedicated his life to the Lord when he was 7 years old. Participated in several Christian Young Adult and Youth Programs while he was in school. Graduated from Leonard Theological College, Jabalpur, India. Earned a degree in Bachelor of Divinity from Senate of Serampore University India. To pursue higher education he moved to USA and studied Doctorate of Missiology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield Illinois.      He was ordained a Reverend in 1976 in India. He received his ordination as Bishop of World Federation of Churches in August 2002, and is the first Asian to receive the Apostolic succession in the history of USA.      He is married to a wonderful woman for over 30 years. His wife Myrtle Christiana, who graduated from Leonard Theological College, Jabalpur, India and also earned a degree in Bachelor of Divinity from Senate of Serampore University, India. She has been his strength and support in his ministry. Together, they have been in the Lord's ministry before their children were born. They have three beautiful children, oldest daughter Ruth Rebecca Kumar (Grand son Sanjay Joshua Kumar), son Christopher Leonard and daughter Lorna Esther Mithra (Son-in-Law Paul Mithra.) India 1975 Bachelor of Divinity Serampore Sentate: 1980 Organized first Theological Students Conference sponsored by World Council of Churches. 1973 Studied at Trinity International University: Deerfield, IL. Doctor of Missiology. Ordained in 1976 as Preacher. District Superintendent, Methodist Church in India for parts of A.P. and Karnataka States. President, Asian American Churches in the UMC, Illinois 1998-2001 Invited by the United Nations Organization, New York. As Executive member of the World Bishops Council, NewYork. Ordained Bishop with Apostolic succession, by the International Communion of the Holy Christian Orthodox Church in 2002. Elected Archbishop on September 24, 2004. Received the gift of healing in 1968. Many people have been healed by Jesus Christ. Founder of Agape India International Ministries, Inc. 1997 President, Chicago Rogers Park Lions Club and one of the founder members. 2004-2005. and 2007-2008. Founder of Agape International Church, Chicago 2006 Invited for Pope Paul II funeral. According to the Scriptures and Canons, have been rightly elevated Archbishop to the Archepiscopacy for the Archdiocese of India in apostolic Succession on May 24, 2007 at Boston. MA.
